I've done so many Model Mondays that I thought that the most logical thing to do was pay homage to "THE SUPERMODELS"
Linda Evangelista & Twiggy
Claudia Schiffer & Christy Turlington
Stephanie Seymour & Gia Carangi
Beverly Johnson & Cindy Crawford
Kate Moss & Naomi Campbell
Twiggy image is iconic, I dont know how many blogs i've come across that have had
tons of pictures of her and her signature style.
Claudia Schiffer gained much of her recognition from her resemblance to Brigitte Bardot.
Gia Carangi isnt the most well known out of this group because her death (AIDs at the age of 26)
but her career was majorly successful. Gia was only 5'7 so I guess you could say that
she was Kate Moss before Kate Moss was Kate Moss (lol)
Cindy Crawford was referred to as "Baby Gia" because of her likeness to Carangi
and Michael Kors stated that she changed the perception of the "sexy American girl".
Beverly Johnson is the first African American model to be featured on the cover of American Vogue.
As we all know, Kate Moss practically made the change from the curvy supermodel to the pin thin models we see now,
She is simply the best of the best and years after what most would consider her hay day she is still a working model,
doing runways and snagging major covers away from young models.
Naomi Campbell is Naomi Campbell...Nuff said
